Renton Civic Theatre

Founded in 1987, the Renton Civic Theatre is a professional performing arts center housed in a 1920s movie palace. For more than 20 years, it has been one of the premier venues for high-quality theater productions in the Greater Puget Sound region, offering a wide variety of performances that appeal to all audiences.

Renton Carco Theatre 

Nestled within Cedar River Park, Renton’s Carco Theatre is a 300-seat auditorium supporting independent film, children’s programs, and multicultural performances. As a nonprofit, the Carco Theatre provides a professional space for low-income and underfunded organizations, encouraging creative expression and educational opportunities on stage and screen.

IKEA Performing Arts Center 

Opened in 2003 on the Renton High School campus, the IKEA Performing Arts Center hosts student theatrical training as well as lectures, concerts, and community performances. The center is home to arts organizations such as the Rainier Symphony, Renton City Concert Band, Ensemble Ballet Theatre, and Evergreen City Ballet. Its spacious wrap-around lobby, 35-foot fly space, and multiple parking options make it an ideal venue for year-round events, both educational and professional.
