Renton is proud to be home to a big game soccer mural —a stunning recreation of the best-selling poster for all the host cities, brought to life on a grand scale. This vibrant piece of art is more than just a mural—it’s an experience. The mural, entitled 'Renton To the World' was created by Shogo Ota, the artist behind Seattle’s official World Cup poster, linking Renton to the region’s global soccer celebration. This mural celebrates the global spirit of soccer and the energy of the World Cup. In a statement to the City of Renton, Shogo said, "I truly enjoyed installing this mural in Renton, surrounded by such an incredible community and with fantastic support from the team. I’m honored that this mural is now part of Renton’s history and connected to the excitement of the World Cup in the region."
