Renton River Days

Renton River Days returns July 23–26, celebrating more than 40 years of community tradition.  This special weekend is packed with activities from the parade, live music, family activities, and the beloved Rubber Ducky Derby. This year, to celebrate 40 years, expect the classic favorites like the parade and duck race along with new additions including expanded concerts, arts, food vendors, and all‑ages fun—making this year one of the most vibrant celebrations yet.

FRIDAY

Kick off the weekend with a Friday Night Spectacular! This is the can’t‑miss moment of the festival—where music, magic, and sky‑high excitement meet. An epic drone show lights up the night with a dazzling display of color, movement, and storytelling, setting the tone for an unforgettable weekend.

SATURDAY

Saturday brings the iconic Renton River Days Parade, a vibrant showcase of community pride. After the parade, enjoy a full day of hands‑on fun—live entertainment, local vendors, family activities, and the popular chalk art competition. It’s the perfect day to experience the heart of Renton.

SUNDAY

Wrap up the weekend with one of Renton’s most beloved traditions: the Great Cedar River Duck Race. Watch thousands of little yellow ducks race down the river for a chance to win fantastic prizes. It’s a lighthearted, joy‑filled finale to a weekend packed with celebration.
