River Days Schedule, Fun and More

Renton River Days returns July 23–26, celebrating more than 40 years of community tradition.  This special weekend is packed with activities from the parade, live music, family activities, and the beloved Rubber Ducky Derby. This year, to celebrate 40 years, expect the classic favorites like the parade and duck race along with new additions including expanded concerts, arts, food vendors, and all‑ages fun—making this year one of the most vibrant celebrations yet.

• Friday 9:30 p.m. Drone Show: Look up for a spectacular show by Sky Elements, showcasing a display of celebration and community.
• River Nights at Legacy Square: The celebration doesn't end when the sun goes down. Head to Legacy Square, Renton's downtown gathering place, for two evenings of live music, food trucks, beverages, and great company
• Renton River Days Parade  “Through the Decades” : 10 a.m. in Downtown, enjoy an exciting celebration of community featuring energetic drill teams, talented dancers, spirited marching bands, youth organizations, colorful floats, and hometown pride.

River Nights 

River Nights keeps the Renton River Days celebration going after dark with two evenings of live music, food trucks, beverages, and community fun at Legacy Square in downtown Renton. Enjoy Friday night performances from ABBAgraphs, a premier ABBA tribute band, followed by Nite Wave, an ’80s New Wave favorite. On Saturday, the energy continues with Reposado, blending Afrobeat, Salsa, Funk, and Soul, followed by Wild Rumours, a Fleetwood Mac tribute experience. It’s the perfect way to extend the festival into the night—and a great preview of even more summer events coming to Legacy Square.
